They were half round rubber strips, nothing special...

I've seen those on bus bumpers....but gee if ya got to have 'em, at least colour match 'em, like jimmyc13 says.

its a popular molding that you buy from a store for 10 bucks and stick it on. you can tell when a car is from nyc b/c all the bumpers are scratched up
