Worst Gas Mileage

C'mon, lets talk about what our M's are really good at!

Stock w/ Mobil One, "drive it like you stole it" style, Our M45 can not hit anywhere below 11 mpg

Can anyone beat that?!

From: on some Prius forum somewhere. Also getting 60mpg.
you can consistently hit below 11mpg on a 45 if you drive it like that. An M35 with normal driving is at best 18 in the city and 22 on the highway.

I would expect my M45 to get 11 mpg's if I drove it like that too, but I don't.
With more moderate driving, and a 75%/25% mix of hwy. and city driving, I get about 25 miles per imperial gallon.
Typically, city driving yields in the 15-20 mpg range, while hwy. driving yields in the 25-30 mpg range (with care).
I consider this quite adequate for the size of ride and power available.

Our M's are great rides, and like our G-brothers', gas mileage isn't the strong suit, but bang-for-the-buck is another story..

Neal, you didn't say how good a mileage you can get.???? I suspect you can achieve at least in the low 20's when you ease up on the 'fun pedal'.

Enjoy---It's quite a ride.

Colin

Ahhhhh.....Free gas.....That would be nice ...

19 is pretty good in the G. Like you say you have to have some fun.
I see that's 19 mpg's to the U.S. gallon.....that's even better.
