OEM replacement / aftermarket headlight reviews
guys...most of us still running G35s are running into the headlight UV damage 'issue' on our OEM headlights(mine are HID).
i realize polishing them is an option but it's one im getting tired of. i'm considering some of the aftermarket OE replacement lights on the market but i'm finding very few reviews
who has direct experience, either good or bad, with any of the aftermarket headlights brands and models?
I have found 3 options so far that keep the OEM look...what else may be out there that's quality??
~ Spyder - Black Euro Headlight
~ AM Autoparts - p/n AM-3776100100
~ Artzone - black p/n E1I352D03HBK
Thanks!

Wet sand your OEM lights with 800, 1000, 1500, then 2000.
Spray this over them, do 5 coats http://www.autozone.com/paint-and-bo...el/465393_0_0/
Buff out the orange peel and you'll have crystal clear head lights that will never oxidize again.

I've always taken good care of them, so there wasn't any prior hazing or anything before I had the car in the shop. They probably did some amount of prep work to them, but I know I didn't. They turned out great though. My tailights are also clear coated for good measure.

guys ... you got the wheels turnin so i phoned my favorite plastic repair company ... SEM. This looks like the way to go Solaray™ UV Clearcoat (http://www.semproducts.com/refinish-...m-uv-clearcoat) now i just need to locate a UV A 70w lamp and some eye pro.
SEM claims it far better then a 2k(catalyzed/hardened) clear, which of course is better then a 1K(spray can) for long life!
Sounds like guys are having good results with all 3 options ... if i cant find a UV A lamp to borrow i'll likely go down the 1K or 2K clear coat road.

http://m.1aauto.com/2003-05-infiniti...=624508&y=2003 i bought these, had them on for a couple months, no problems nice and clear, worth the price and warranty, try Carid.com also just remember warranty and both sites have diffrent options and quality and design and if u need bulbs/balast after market, i got both Ddmtuning.com and Diodedynamics.com
