Tasteful Aftermarket Gauges (where to get them and where to put them)

I would like to install a basic set of three gauges to monitor what the built in gauges do not: oil temp, oil pressure, and volts. The car is not modified and I'm not going to be racing it, but as a pilot whose used to getting a little more information about the engine he's sitting behind, I would really enjoy this upgrade.

However, I'm a new to G35 ownership and working on cars, so I don't really know where to begin with regard to finding a good set of gauges and having them installed.

Having them installed is gonna be hella expensive. AEM makes gauges people tend to buy around here. Check the marketplace to see what they are going for.

The thread below wound up having lots of images of the gauges folks on here have installed. Could be helpful for you in figuring out what you want.

I would look into putting it on the driver side pillar, the cubby on top of the stereo, on the steering column in front of the dash .

I actually DONT like them in my Pillar. They are so large I cant see around them. They top cubby is a custom *** look to drop 1k to get the fab work done on that alone. Steering column is around the same cost. All fab work.

Yes it is. You can see the piece in my build thread. I based it off the 350z dash.

I wanted gauges for years and finally went with the drivers pillar using Autometer Cobalt gauges. They're at eye level so I can see them while driving, and they don't obstruct the view from any angle! Only issue was finding the right paint/color to paint the pillar bracket, not something you can find at your local auto parts store!
