Force induction to g35s 2007

Hello guys, i'm concerned to put a single turbo kit to my car.. This is a daily drive car and don't want to have the car more time in the mechanic than I using it. Do I need to change engine internals in order to put the turbo kit? thks!!

Don't do it unless you can afford to have your daily driver car in the shop periodically. As for internals ... that depends on the rest of the build.

Terry's would know best for the turbo on these cars. I say go supercharger to be on the safe side. It's not so hard on the engine. I have that on my car and i DD my car everyday.

I came from G coupe sections before (owned 03 coupe turbo charge for 4yrs) all i can tell you is DONT DO IT. If your car is DD why even do FI? If you do FI most likely you need to cool down your engine and install intercoolers. I have to disagree on BLUEDEVILS95 most blown engines of 03-05 coupes are supercharge they run your engines really hot. On the other hand Turbos too many maintenance and proper tuning. most of the time your car will be in the shop. #justmycent

Dude! He has an HR motor. It's not a DE engine! Did you read the section were in first? HR motors are built way better then the DE. Ive only read very few on the HR motors that have blown and one of then is NA. probable 70% of my time i am never in boost and if i am it's only 3-4 psi. so i pretty safe and i am never in it for that long.

Yes I know im aware its HR motors ( i have 07 tech packg and thats why im in this section now) Also im aware about that blown motor guy (He claims his car is always maintain etc etc). Dont get me wrong @bluedevils95 our HR motors are really reliable vs the DE. But my thoughts are just for @mikemf8 because he stated that he doesnt want his car to be in the mechanic more than him driving it. Ive experienced the slow gasket leak from the timing cover on my car and I only have JWT pop and medalion installed on my car (it varies to different car and how you use and abuse it) . Trust me its a pain to fix it if your car is out of warranty. So my point is it doesnt matter hows our motors are built, one problem can send you to the mechanic even your bone stock.

OP when you think about going FI maybe you can reasses how deep is your pocket.
