Since your car has low miles and OC, if you have any powertrain warranty left and your OC is really bad you should take it to infiniti to get them to change the oil/filter and doccument that, you will then drive 1000 miles and bring back if the oc is bad itl go for review..... which may take a month but you will find out if Infiniti is willing to pay for it

My OC was a quart per 500mi lol came back after driving 1000miles pulled the dipstick out and it was clean.... not good

I got OC on my 04 at 58K. Was burning 3.5 qts per 100 miles. Motor was ordered the same day I brought the car back after only driving it 100 miles lol

Pepper, yours is a 6mt so Infiniti is more generous not to mention there is a official TSB for OC in 6MT models but I have a 2007 5AT which is not suposta have those issues hence why it took a month they sent some tech from corporate to oversee my block's teardown

I was never told what the failure was and my buddy at Infiniti was real vague making me think he was told to be quiet about it....

Itasha Coupe
Daily driven, 30 miles one way to work 5 days a week.

Bought for $18k with 38k miles on February 10th, 2010. Paid off the day I bought.

And right now, my car is kind of sad sitting on a set of really tucked Traffic Star RTS while I wait to install my SSR Type F's and my Hankooks.
