I get your point. I hated my stock headlights and the clearance strip was kinda gay with that 194 bulb. However after the retro I'm inlove. The clearance lights up so much better, definitely an eye catcher. And love the quad bixenon. Day maker lol
Only thing that turns me off from 06+ is the chrome housing. I hate chrome. Too flashy for my taste, but again you can always paint it black or whatever color.

Nope but I have a shiiit load of pictures. I can post or email them.
I can try to do a build thread. But I used 3" projectors. They were huge. If I do this again I'd definitely use 2.5"
I will have another set build when i'm back I'm Canada. I'll try to do a full build thread.

had mine painted matte black but when I bought wheels I went with a silver polish finish so I went back to OEM projectors because it fit my theme better.... if I ever get gun metal or some sort of dark wheels ill go back to black
I would probably consider adding the strip to a set of projectors in the future but the price of them is so high now that they are discontinued... sucks for those that didnt get them before

I really wanted a set of 06+ and I actually bought one back in 2011 when I bought the car. However they came in damaged. I sent them back and never bothered with another set and went with a retro.
Main reason I didn't because I know I won't keep them stock. I always have to take shiit apart and change them. I might do another set and change things around a bit more lol

Two ways. You can either use a combination of long screws, nuts, washers etc… and cut into the back of the housing and mount it there. or cut a circle into the reflectors and epoxy the projector to the center of it. I know it sounds retarded but I have a PDF with a generic DIY. It's pretty simple. Makes the retro SO much easier. Also another bonus with cutting the reflector and mounting it to it is you retain stock adjustments if needed
