A friend of mine with FI exhaust it sounds nice but cabin noise is way too loud IMO. Only reason why I won't consider one.

Sam just get one u wont regret it other than how loud it can be under wot...
Pros great quality and fitment!!!
Cons its pretty heavy and get stainless tips for daily and ti burnt tips for the weekends/shows they get very dirty...
I know it's loud under WOT but how's regular driving? Any drone inside? Loud cabin noise?

yeah sometimes it can be a lil loud when low RPMs and loaded.... theres a long steep hill on my way home from work everyday 45mph in 5th is pretty bad people look at me all the time like 'whys his car so lound going this slow' haha but man it sounds sweet anywhere else even the hardass muscle car guys give the thumbs up

also depends on what size mufflers and x-pipe you choose, thats one feature you dont get when ordering a MD exhaust

When I heard his FI exhaust I fell inlove. It was so loud. Deep. It sounded amazing. Went for a spin on the highway. & I can see that being a big problem. I drive to Edmonton quite often (5 hour drive) and that noise would drive me nuts.

I wanna know serges review on the interior noise. I really like how.... "Scary" the TDX sounds lol

highway is no problem unless you have a 5at driving in excess of 75mph or more bc RPMs will get in the upper 3000s, cruzing around anthing less that 3k is oem quiet

i also want to hear his 'sound review'

Love mine no rasp.... little drone... wgen im cruising 40mph in 4thgear its just a perfect balancing in power feel and loudness I can still have a decent conversation without screaming at one another.....
And I felt the market for these on resale will stay strong when I go fi

I think I made up my mind. TDX it is.
I'm away for two months. I'm gonna buy it now and install it when I'm back.

Would it still be fine for FI?

I guess it depends on specific fi applications... I see vortechs w md exhausts on here that sound amazing and have respectable dyno numbers... if u call tony at md or hit him up on here or fb he would be able to tell u im sure.. he knows everything!!

they are fine for FI applications but a blower will actually make the exhaust quieter, was interesting to learn bc guy here has a Vortec SC with same FI and Longtube headers, characteristics are the same sound wise but the decibel level is substantially lower
