More reasons I love my cup kit... Why I went from cups to bags to static and back to cups with thousands wasted.
Two air compressors to power entire system. If one ever fails, I have a second one to work the system. No air tank. Total time to air up is 4 seconds.
Two relays and an on/off switch to turn the pumps on. That's it. That's all the electrical. No gauge, just stop the compressors when the car stops raising.
I have a manual pressure release valve. Turn the valve and it dumps the air.
Only things that can go wrong is if...
~I blow a fuse (I keep extra 15A fuses).
~Pull the wiring loose from the dash (not gonna happen).
~Puncture a line (I keep 4 feet extra tube and some push to connect connectors - it's only 6mm tubing, so takes no room like 1/2'' air line would).
~Or both pumps quit (the odds of both at the same time are slim unless its wiring related like above)
I do have a one way valve that I can quick disconnect the air release valve and air the cups up from a tire compressor that plugs into the cigarette lighter.
Simplification. **** your bags, tanks, pressure sensors, valves, switches, and gauges.

Yeah, you'll need to convert rear to true style.
There are other fitment issues with cup kits and the rear. If it was as easy as making the back look like the front, people would just buy 4 cups and mount one to each coil. 90% of kits only come as a front kit... with exceptions like some Roberuta kits and Umbrella with the NSX kit... it's very make specific when it comes to the rear setup.
Obviously it can be done. If P.VIP came out with a rear kit then right on!
