torch on a gas pressurized shock?

collars are loose. its the lower bracket that won't budge. I set the car down on the coils with the lock ring off, hoping I drive and they loosen themselves. I sprayed some PB Blaster on there to let it soak overnight and hope that helps. Too late now to keep trying, had the PB soak for about 3 hours with no budging, maybe overnight will do it. if not, *** it, i'll drive without the lock ring locked and hope it does.

i think it was shane looking for the VIP/boso exhaust.

here's mine. not that long,

45 degree angle cut tip, and exhaust also angled upwards.

the chrome tips are actually 18" long I believe and continue into the rear bumper. I didn't want a short tip (12") because that section of the tip would have been ugly non polished tubing.

here it is at the shop I went just as he finished, so you can see why I choose the 18" tip instead of the 12" (it goes further in and remains chrome, instead of transitioning to unpolished ugliness)

I made some quick passes along the bottom bracket and got it hot enough that I needed gloves. . U might get lucky and just get it warm to the touch..

Definitly off the car.. I put mine in a vise because the bottom bracket started to bend and would snap pretty easy..
