Matte black vinyl wrap. I did the roof & trunk. I havnt done the hood yet because the mounts are crap and makes my hood rub on my fenders "tried spraying them to help out but they are just too far gone", waiting for the new mounts to show up & replace them before I wrap the hood. Just doing the hood roof and trunk.

I ended up wrapping it with the wing still installed...i started to remove the wing and realized it was a ridiculous PITA to remove the spoiler from these trunk lids. I think after my car is lowered more it may look better without the spoiler but i personally feel like the spoiler looks really clean in its current state. Im going to try and find a local trunk lid without a spoiler and wrap it and see how I like it eventually. Id rather be able to swap lids then remove/reinstall that spoiler to see how i like it.

I ordered some 350z sportline springs, wheel spacers and some oem 19"s. Im going to end up having the oem 19's powedercoated perhaps a gunmetal color w/the lips left polished. "still debating". But im also looking to snag a spare set of oem 04 headlights to take apart and do a projector retrofit as well. Lots of ideas but all with a budget so we shall see. I wont get too carried away with it as this is my dd but I wanted to take a break from the weekend warrior and give the G some love. Just a few basic mod's to help clean it up and modernize the vehicle. Ultimately ill be looking to get a nice jdm DD and a display to get rid of this awesome bose tape deck setup...I dont understand why an 04 has a damn tape deck+6dsc changer lol!. Also converting the silver interior pieces to a nice di-noc cf pattern. Nothing over the top but should look clean when all said and done.

Because a DD dosnt need a cf hood/weight reduction. And vinyl can be removed at any time when eventually i decide to sell or trade in the vehicle. It also protects the factory soft paint while adding a little personalization to the vehicle. Its not plastidip & vinyl vehicle wraps are not new. I didn't realize wrap was so frowned upon...o well, building it for myself not the forums anyways, just figured id share.

Lol @ carbon hood for weight reduction. People still do it for weight reduction when cars come with aluminum hoods? I guess you do it as part of a "build" nowadays.. in place of a large sticker on you hood which attempts to mimic the look.
Never claimed vinyl wrapping to be a build guy....also have no idea wtf Varrstoens are......if i wanted to mimic the look of CF they make cf vinyl but im not a fan for exterior choices. And yea people do use CF alot for weight reduction...... This is my DD not my weekend warrior, anything I do to this car will be on a budget but will be kept clean. Im not here to argue with people on the internet just figured id show some pics of my coupe. O well.
