Mind sharing what parts you got to build up for boost

 

Got the wheels and tires on finally. Also just installed ChargeSpeed carbon lip, DC headers, ART pipes, Mishimoto rdiator and thermostat and NWP Big Bore throttle body.

96mm .20 over 8:8 wiseco pistons/rings
Bc rods, Manley crank, arp main and head studs...
Hr headgasket mod, bc stage 3 272 lift cams, bc springs/ti retainers, all new oem timing
Earls chrome fittings/hoses
Painted valve covers
Etc. etc....

 

Thats clost to the same setup I used… What turbo do you have?

 

Just curious but why such low CR?

Please forgive me if there is a specific reason these motors need to be boosted on such a low CR, im new to this platform and haven't done much reading on what these factory motors or boosted motors can handle but im interested to know!

 

Prolly going sc but just breaking in the motor for right now..

 

Serges how much did you spend on the engine build?

 

Around 5 - 6k parts and a lot of unnecessary **** for what I need but still gotta pay my buddy to do work 1400... I'm guessing with everything 8k...

 

Is that just in motor parts? Or does that include the turbo setup?

 

Reasoning why you went about a built motor? stock blocks can handle a good amount of power.

 

might pick up some volk ce28's white doe.

 

Picked up some 06 headlights, fresh 6000k bulbs & an HID kit+6000k's for the fogs. Should finally be able to see at night! lol
