Was this directed at me? If not disregard. IF so....are you suggesting i don't have money because I chose to paint my grille and change things up? Money is not an issue & I don't see why your trying to frown upon simple/effective mods to change up the look on a car....especially considering most of you have already done this very same mod. Sorry the first mod to this car wasn't a built engine or turbo setup. This is my daily driver, i already have a weekend car with more money and time invested than I care to talk about, but the grin it puts on my face was worth the time and money put into it..at least for me anyways...which is ultimately what its all about.Originally Posted by adilxxrg35

I guess its troll day, or perhaps you just enjoy nut swinging. Either way I can already tell how this forum goes....ill avoid the internet commando's. GL

Ha, none taken, everyone has their own opinion. I have 2 cars and a ski, the G was on the back burner as it was just my daily driver. I wanted something nice, clean and reliable so I found an 04 coupe with 35k miles and snagged her up at a really great price! Last summer I installed a new engine into the sea doo "oil pump failed" which took a while as the lake/dock we have is a nice 3.5 hour drive so testing wasnt a close option to my tools & had limited free time due to work that summer. Then this summer my weekend warrior got an overhaul and got a fresh built/sleeved shortblock, built head, custom air 2 water setup, water/methanol injection, different manifold, new turbo etc, ugh you name it! But you gotta pay to play. Its still not 100% completed but damn close. So with all that I kept the G nearly stock, its a great car just getting bored with the complete stock oem look so doing a few simple modifications to personalize it a tad. Waiting on a few parts to show up next week to change her up a bit. Just some oem 19"s, spacers, lowering springs. Ive never really been a fan of poked or stretched tire setups & cant justify spending that sort of $$ on just rims when i have other larger projects still in progress. Plus the oem 19"s look super clean from the factory. Anyways, none takenOriginally Posted by adilxxrg35

With the g35 less is more.. I upgraded everything exterior wise to 06.. Put 35 series tires on my oem 19's, spacers and lowered on coils and I still get mad looks and almost every day people asking me about my car..Originally Posted by digital sol
