nah just a few coats will do the trick. its lasted me about 2 years and not a single chip in it.

First time I did my grill I used clear and after a while it looked like crap, second time just used paint and it held up better..

Here is my progress..... Since my build page gets minimal traffic... Dont hate on the flares... They are not set in stone on the fitment... The front is a little off...
