yeah we will find out I guess lol I had overheating problems at first but had an air pocket in the system, bled the air out and so far have been fine but I also havent ran the car hard yet because its not tuned. The guy I bought the kit from raced time attack and didnt mention anything about cooling issues and he was in Florida so quite a bit warmer than here in MN so we will see. I litteraly just got it finished and running this weekend hopefully be tuned soon, still aquiring the final tidbits for tuning. Runs great putsing around the neighborhood and just casual highway driving when running tests.

first fab attempt at preventing water from getting to the filter. I'm looking at the Kuruma front bumper and the filter sits right behing the opening in the bumper, so any amount of water would go straight to the filter. Might try making a little larger box and run a duct for fresh air. Had some comments about too much restriction, but with a turbo you shouldnt need a direct source of air as the turbo will draw it in.

2one8, You still need that to get some air. I would get a Hydroshield from AEM... I had that on one of my cars works GREAT!!!

You could create some type air duct system to redirect air from under the car. There are also misting systems that spray water on the radiator (or intercooler) to chill it out that much more. Those are usually for the hardcore's tho.

^Haven't been driving as much since I finished fitting them on & use a quick detailer on them every weekend so brake dust isn't a issue. But drying them after a wash is a pain having to get into every hole & trying to be quick enough to avoid water spots.

Random pic of my CF lip after a year.

Use a leaf blower before you use a towel..

lol, I learned that real quick when I first got my previous Work/Ag T1S wheels which had a clearcoat on the lips. Brake dust & debris left hairline scratches I use some compressed air & a cali car duster after to lightly get rid of anything that can scratch it before wiping.
