All DG Diamond Graphite Coupes POST PICS!
Pat, what time are you shooting at?
Did you use a neutral density filter?
Looks good. Seems like there's a little shake or your shutter speed is too long -- front wheel's a little OOF.

Assuming no ND filter, musta been pretty dark to use a 5 second shutter at f/5. I like to do my rig shots with small apertures to assure the entire car is in focus. The desired blur is motion blur, obviously. Don't need a wide aperture to achieve that.
no filters at all since there wasn't much light, and that's why the shutter speed was long. also, my fg hood and trunk weren't very sturdy for the rig, so that contributed to some of the vibration
I'll try again soon but in better lighting conditions though, and probably push the car instead of driving it.
the last piece of my rig arrived at my house pretty late. just took a few test shots, it was already past sunset.

But try mounting the cups to the glass. Should be more stable.
Long shutters are fine, just gotta make sure the car is steady. I've driven the car (so engine on) with 30 second shutters (was in a parking lot, needed to absorb as much ambient light from the parking lot lights with a small aperture as possible) and gotten good results.
Just takes some practice w/ trial and error. You'll quickly learn what works for yah.
Good shot for your first try!
