If that is the case then just save money for the mods that you can afford. It isn't cheap to mod our cars properly.

Alright, well i want to get a nismo catback exhaust, paint my grill black, get rid of the molding on the side of my car all by senior year and then during senior year i want rims, but i have no clue what type of rims would go on a g35, so far i like black nismo rims but idk if that would look good or if my **** will be ricey or what. so im gunna be on this forum like everyday for the next year haha

Keep reading. I'm assuming since you have a DG then I would just go through this thread and look at set ups and make up your own mind what looks good and what doesn't. There are mods that most people will like and others won't like. You can't please them all. So mod for yourself, and not because someone else doesn't like it.

Prime example is my hood. It is hit or miss on this forum, but I love my vented hood. Other people aren't paying for my mods, I am.

Yeah, i like your hood but it seems a little pricey haha, but alright. I live in a town where there is alot of kids all about JDM and they all have old civics and they look like **** and sound ricey as hell. If i were to go striaght up JDM, i would spend wayyy to much and im just gunna do a few things to make it look nice and yeah, ur right im paying for the mods, not the other kids at my school

agree 100% with son. mod it to your liking. youll turn heads with most mods you decide to do. the only suggestion i can make is to keep it simple and clean. you can never go wrong with basic, simple lines and subtle upgrades. an easy way to make those choices: ask yourself, "will this mod still be considered clean in 5-10 years?" some guys also mod their appearance to the point where others would think the car came from the factory that way or the items were oem options. but again, im not sure the direction you are headed. there are plenty of builds on here that are super aggressive and built for show and they look great as well. definitely dont chince out and try and mod with cheap upgrades b/c you dont have it in your budget to do what you really want. save, save, save!

yeah well what im looking to do is exactly on this page
https://g35driver.com/forums/picture...-pics-162.html
the one with the satelites in the back, the only thing different i would do is darker tints, keep the g35 emblem (if it looks good) and then get different rims like black nismo rims or any type of rims that look good as long as they are black, and then an exhaust, idk which sounds best tho, i like nismo exhaust alot and borla sounds good too

If so, it belongs to my friend Herman here in Houston. He has since gone a lot lower though. New pictures are here. He popped a sidemarker tho...

Check out this thread for exhaust clips and stuff like that. Props to Jayk for putting it together and people who submitted their vids.

Looks like a UTR lip kit, but I'm not too sure. Hopefully Frankie sees this and can chime in if it is or isn't. As for the side skirts, those are Impul style side skirts. Pretty common.

The wheels look like Volk GT-F's in Diamond Black. Grill seems to look like it is OEM from that angle, nothing special done to it.

grill is painted Gloss Black

~80$ to paint professionally.
~15$ to rattle can paint it yourself.
