So I couldnt decide on a rim that I liked and I actually really liked the stock 19's but they r still stock. So I decided to change them up a little bit and got them painted....... tell me what you guys think.

painted rims

Mike:

I like your rims. I was thinking of doing the same. Did you have them done or did you do them yourself?

thanks guys! i was happy with the way they came out too. I got them done at a local body shop that does all my work I think they did a really good job. I was kind of nervous of how they would come out and especially how straight the line would be where the 2 colors change but it came out perfect looks like it came like that.

Is the lip polished or did you just paint the centers and leave the lip painted silver?

Looks good. However, still not too sure bout the color of your calipers. Is there any special coating that they applied to the paintjob to resist cracking and peeling?

ya I couldnt decide on the calipers i'm gunna redo them when i get time the paint came out completely different than what it looked like on the can. and the lip isn't polished but it's not the stock color I'm honestly not even sure wut the actually color of it would be called. But i do remember the guy that did them for me saying something about the color they use on porsche rims from the factory. I was worried about the paint chipping but he told me he used some special paint that was really strong or something and he clear coated it a bunch of times. But like I said I'm honestly not too sure what was done my dad is good friends with the guy that owns the bodyshop that did them so I just told him what I wanted to get done and let him use his best judgement on them. He did a good job IMO though.
