I don't know about black but I had this issue with my DG and over time it did go blend in to the point where if you didn't know it was there to begin with you would have no idea.

my cars an 07 and i got it about a month ago. i debadged it like 2 weeks ago. i took it to a buffer who buffed it out and it looked clean, but if you look extremely close and concentrate, you can still see the outline of it. is there anything i can do to fix this problem. its still an 07 so i dont know why theres still something noticeable wit me debadging it. any advice? should i take it back to the buffer? apply more goo gone? buy scratchX for it? i jus want to get it clean to the point where you cant see anything no matter how hard you concentrate. and i know its possible cuz my car is a 07.

I used Scratch X and I had the "ghost" problem. After a week or so, it dissapeared.

Scratch X has what's known as phantom polymers with elastomer neuron's. In short - it works even after you stop. So no surprise there.

Just kidding

thinking about taking off the g35 as well but dunno yet...
mine's an 04 so there is that ghosting effect of the letter outline but i'm gonna clean the hell out of it with scratch x n polish/wax.. hope it goes away...
