AME Tracer FS01 Wheels

I've been debating aftermarket wheel setups since I got the car, and I finally found one that I really like:

I'm looking at a set in 19x8.5, +40 all the way around in Hyper Silver (pictured above). They are similar in style to the stock rims, which I like and would probably keep if they were bigger than 17" and didn't make the tires look enormous.

Now I just need to decide on a set of 245/40/19 tires and whether I want to do a summer setup here and a winter setup on the stock rims.

What does everyone think? Any pics on an '07 G35?

I've seen them on a STI here in Queens, NYC, looks awesome in person.
I would definitely get those in the same size you want, just go with a +38 or
+35 offset.

I have a set of SSR GT7 rims, 19x8.5, 40 Offset on my 04X lowered on H & R springs and I love the look.

Rims with lips always look way smaller on sedans, so I think these rims would compliment your x perfectly.

Would the STi happen to be white? I saw them on my other forum from a friend of a friend on a white STi and looked them up. Am I right in thinking that a 19x8.5, +40 offset would fit perfectly on the '07 sedan? That's what I've gotten from the numerous other threads.

Rough idea photoshopped onto another 19x8.5 car, sorry for stealing a pic from another thread:

The STI was a bronze color. The wheels matched his car perfectly. If you lower you car and get the hyper silver, it would be a clean look.

Those will tie in with the sharp lines of your G nicely. Can you get the rears in 9.5 or 10? I know I wish I would have gotten the staggard look a long time ago.

get the 18x9+40 if you can. Check out this link:
http://www.ame-wheels.com/applicationguide/sheet001.htm

If you notice some of them have astrix next to them to indicate tapered face design, which will look like all the ones you pictured. If you order one without the tapered face it will look flat and boring and wont have those sexy curved spokes.
