245/275/35/19 on OEM 19"??? ----- Perfect!!!
3 Attachment(s)
Hey all, i had so many questions and there was not one concrete answer on the tire sizing for OEM 19" rims, so i decided to go on my own and get what i wanted with manufacture specs, i went as BIG and as FAT as i could, without running the trouble of losing traction control or ABS, anyway here is the result:
245/35/19: Attachment 229848 275/35/19: Attachment 229849 rear stance view: Attachment 229850 sorry for the crude pics, ill get some better up tomorrow or after finals, but i am SUPER SATISFIED!!! Kevin |
Should have gone with 245 front and 255 rear at most.
|
Thats not within manufacturers specs
|
bfgoodrich right....i can tell cuz thats the same thread i have i think haha
|
whoops i changed it i have 245 in front, but according to discount tire, manufacture specs will allow this, i even had them call infiniti to make sure they would work, infiniti said this was the biggest i could go, which is exactly what i wanted.
|
i dig the look... i just thought it wasnt recomended to have 275 on a 8.5in rim. Im tempted to do it too.
|
Nice snow tires, i bet they will work great.
|
front is ok.. but 275 on the rear for oem rims... i dunno bout that.
|
damn, thats is sick. I didn't know its possible to put 275 on the rear wheels amazing take some more pictures.
|
yea more pics....funny i saw this thread i'm looking to replace all 4 tires. I've been searching and debating what size to go by the one's i've seen are 245/35/19 front and 255/40/19 rear which they say is the "best" set up. This is interesting.

Damn
275 on a stock rim Let's see the side view of the rear tire I want too see how much "tire lip" you got |

I'm surprised Discount Tire would accept the liability for this. I know my local Discount Tire Store wont. Lou |

yes.. the TREAD is a BFG KDW tire... |
they wouldnt mount my 275/35/19 on my rears at the dealership.. i bent a racinghart j8 with a 275 potenza runflat and tried to have them just swap the tire to a stock 19x8.5 rear rim and they told me and showed me it didnt fit at all..
think it all depends on brand of tire |
