245/275/35/19 on OEM 19"??? ----- Perfect!!!

Hey all, i had so many questions and there was not one concrete answer on the tire sizing for OEM 19" rims, so i decided to go on my own and get what i wanted with manufacture specs, i went as BIG and as FAT as i could, without running the trouble of losing traction control or ABS, anyway here is the result:

245/35/19:

275/35/19:

sorry for the crude pics, ill get some better up tomorrow or after finals, but i am SUPER SATISFIED!!!

Should have gone with 245 front and 255 rear at most.

whoops i changed it i have 245 in front, but according to discount tire, manufacture specs will allow this, i even had them call infiniti to make sure they would work, infiniti said this was the biggest i could go, which is exactly what i wanted.

yea more pics....funny i saw this thread i'm looking to replace all 4 tires. I've been searching and debating what size to go by the one's i've seen are 245/35/19 front and 255/40/19 rear which they say is the "best" set up. This is interesting.

On stock wheels (8.5" in back) 275/35/19 is too wide a cross section. 265/35/19 though not recommended by tire manufacturer's will be OK. As far as calling Infiniti, I don't think so.

I'm surprised Discount Tire would accept the liability for this. I know my local Discount Tire Store wont.

they wouldnt mount my 275/35/19 on my rears at the dealership.. i bent a racinghart j8 with a 275 potenza runflat and tried to have them just swap the tire to a stock 19x8.5 rear rim and they told me and showed me it didnt fit at all..

think it all depends on brand of tire

It doesn't depend on the Brand of tire, it depends on the Size of tire. 275s - No-No on an 8.5" wheel
