I haven't even had these wheels for a month!!!

I'm gonna post some high res photos showing the damage.. Hopefully one of you will post a magical solution to restore the finish (right now i think my only option is to have the barrels stripped and chromed.
I wouldn't have them chromed........just get them stripped, nicely polished and Zoopsealed

Sorry to hear what happened. U'll be really happy after getting it stripped and polished. I have the same wheels.. looks 10x better than the original finish.

It's hard to capture the beauty of Diamond Black Volks. I've had this finish on a set of SF-Challenges and now on my current GT-S's. It's so much nicer than gloss black imo.

+1, they look great.

I would guess that it is easier to keep chrome lips clean, that it is to keep polished lips clean?

yea.. at first they tried to polish them... and I was like thanks for downgrading my wheels. then they chromed them and I was happy. it's a way more durable finish than anodized or polished.

How long have you had them back for?

I'm interested to see how the chrome finish holds up!

I have the lips polished on my OEM 19's, and it can be a pita to keep shiny with the salt in NY. I think chrome would be more durable and easier to keep clean than polished metal with no clear coat.
