G35 Coupe "Sport Package"
Try This Again. Ro_Ja R2-5

19x9.5 +19, 19x10.5 +19 with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 245-35, 275-35. front fitment is absolutely perfect, but rear tire sticks out a bit. thought 275 on 10.5 would have been more "stretched".

was not 100% sure about fitment due to the very aggressive offsets, but it turned out pretty good. need to get rear fender rolled once I swap out 350Z H-Techs for RS*R 350Z Ti2000 in the spring. H-Tech rear drop is not quite enough for my taste.

also have a set of G-Games 99B 19x9.5 +22, 19x10.5 +22 with 245-35 and 285-35 Falken FK451 with no fitment issues whatsoever. the 285 is slightly stretched and that is why I thought a 275 would be more "stretched" on Ro_Ja's, considering Falken width @ 11.1 and Michelin @ 10.9???

other wheel size choice was 19x10.5 +32, but thought it might be too conservative considering that I am use too seeing car with 19x10.5 +22.

think I made a good choice with the aggressive offsets despite having to get fender rolled. once new suspension work is completed in the spring I think car will look much better with lower drop.

probably swap the Michelins to my G-Games as Falkens are wearing down and can run that setup in winter. looking for a good summer tire for Ro_Ja's that will be a bit more "stretched" on rim.

let me know what you guys think. thanks.

The ride looks good man. The rotors make it even better.

thanks for the nice comments. was really unsure of going with black rims, but think it worked out nice. could not pass up the deal I got on these. car still looks clean. think it will look even better dropped down on RS*R's.

wheel fitment is very aggressive, but it looks good with the fat lips. will definitely be swaping the Michelin A/S to my G-Games for winter use and putting 245-35, 275-35 Toyo T1R on these for summer. T1R is a light weight tire and a bit more narrow to give me the "stretch" needed for these offsets.

I just got my 05 coupe and its silver, but i dont see how black rims on anything but a black or maybe white car go very well. I mean it looks nice, dont get me wrong, but is there something im missing? Maybe i would consider black rims to go with the black interior i have? If someone could fill me in on the logic here that would be great =) Cause i see alot of people with black rims and silver cars.

you have to go way back to old Porsche 911's with black center rims. that is first place I saw them when I was younger.

like I said, I was unsure of black rims too until I put them on my own car. saw a couple on this site and thought I would try something different than the usual silver or gunmetal on BS.

my car has three color combination of silver and black with red accents which I am working with. the polished lip sets off the black. the black ties in with the dark tinted windows and dark interior and engine bay.

the wheels are actually carbon black which is a bit lighter than regular black and similar to the carbon black metallic on BMW's.

here are some more pics to give you an idea of the color scheme I am working.

Thanks for explaining that. Could you post some side view pics too maybe. I think im either gonna try and find a used set of volks or go with brand new MRR GT1's. Maybe Axis pentas or matrix. but i cant choose what color. I have a BS coupe with a black interior all stock. I dont want it to look ricey AT ALL. i need it to look as little aftermarketed as i can but still have it stick out from the stock vehicles, also while considering this is my first car.

I was actually thinking black rims maybe with a black grill might be nice. But i do like gunmetal / silver and not over complicate things.
