Work Varianza T1S installed!
I don't get any rubbing at all. At -.75 deg. camber in front, it is super flush in my case. Of course running more neg camber would allow for a lower offset.
In the rear, a large part of the look and the fitment for me was about the tire. I wanted to stick to OEM diameter and more importantly, I wanted the tire to fit on the wheel a certain way. For my car, I didn't want too much stretch on the tire. The 20X10.5" width fit just right for me on the 285/30/20. I felt that an 11" wheel would cause a little too much stretch for me. Don't get me wrong, I think 11's are DOPE just not on my application.
The other factor is that since my car's style is more understated, I don't want much negative camber on either end. Even though I'm at -1.5 deg in the rear now and it handles well, for looks I might set it at about -.9 to -1.0 degrees. In the end, sticking with a 285 width tire on a 10.5" wheel with mid 20s offsets gives me the most flexibility.
Did I say in my above post how much I love the Michelin PS2??!! They are relatively light, look great, and handle fantastic. It's probably a combination of extra rubber on the road and the Michelins but I haven't had VDC kick in yet! And yes, I am a non-VDC kind of driver but that's what my stockers are for!!
