Joining the ranks of the coupe owners!
Okay, so after an exhausting search and impatient waiting period of about 5 months, I finally pulled the trigger on a 06 Serengeti Sand Coupe 6mt!
Not my first choice in color, actually my last choice. After seeing it in person, looking at everything it came with and the great price....I couldn't pass it up. They even put brand new bridgestones on after we had agreed on the price.
I have been looking at the auction and locally to see if I could find a low mileage 2006 6mt in any color. For some reason, nobody wants to give them up or they just like autos down here in Florida. Most of the ones at the auction were beat up or went for too much. My 2003 BO Sedan had close to 80K mileage on it and just stranded me in the parking garage yesterday due to a dead battery. It new that its end was near. It was a good car, but time for something sportier.
So had a hook up at the dealer where the car was at, test drove it and the color really grew on me. Very unique color and all of the girls in my office really liked it too
Here is the run down.
06 Serengeti Sand Metallic Coupe 6mt
23K miles
Pretty much everything but Nav (Bluetooth, Sat Radio, etc)...not sure what comes stock.
Out the door at 24K and change!
Some cell phone pics: BTW they have the little insert for the front bumper on order.

Yeah, the pinstripe is coming off this weekend. It's funny I didn't even notice it when I bought it.
As far as the dents, this car was from Nashville or something so they had a front license plate on it. Is there some painted plugs I can put in or some way to cover it up?

Actually, it doesn't really look gold. More like a stone color at night; almost white pearlish, and a khaki metallic in the day. I had it parked next to a gold camry in the garage at work at it was night and day. It is actually a pretty cool color. In the past few days I have had a ton of compliments on the color and how they have never seen a color like it before.
