R1 racing wheels
Does anyone have these wheels or know anything about this company. I am on a budget and these wheels would look perfect on my ride. Should I buy these wheels? They go for around $2300 w/ tires, Any feedback would be helpful, thanks

There have been a few around here with the wheels, they seem to be good quality for a low budget wheel. As long as you are not stupid with them, you will be fine.

as far as wheels go...what r you looking for?
the design is great IMO.
are you looking for the 20"s? they will clear the stock brakes as well as brembo's
in terms of quality, those who have had the wheel for a while seem to have no complaints.
so if you like the design, than I would consider them a good deal for $2300 with tires.

definitely want 20s, look better than 19s, just wondering about the quality of the wheels and don't want to have problems with them, do you know where they are made, do the wheels feel heavier than stock (car slower) and does mpg go down?

1. +1 on 20s looking better
2. You won't have any problems as long as you don't do anything silly while driving (this goes for all wheels)
3. Don't know where they are made...probably China or somewhere in SE Asia
4a. Don't know about the weight differential. I would assume so since they are larger wheels than stock and aren't forged.
4b. I've 'felt' that acceleration is much smoother since the wheels are wider and provide more rubber to transfer force to the road. don't know if this is real, but other ppl who have gone with wider than stock wheels have noted this too.
5. I haven't noticed a decrease in mpg...mine has always sucked since i have a lead foot
