I thought i couldn't/shouldn't spend 3k on rims/tires, but if you dont get what you want to begin with, you'll end up doing a bunch of other stuff to TRY and make up for it. Because i thought the same thing and bought some cheaper wheels, which i ended up not being satisfied with and spent 3k on wheels anyway.
