Thanks!

honestly, I was afraid of it standing out too much as well, it turned out alot better than i had expected. from a distance, it looked like a single long light, its also not as bright as the pictures show. its only bright when you look directly into it at a certain angle and then it seems to disappear as you come around. ah, like i said, pictures just dont justify what it truely look like. Its not as bright as cfl. I did over expose a little to get the effect of the leds as you can see the background is lit up.

I bought the headlights on ebay, bid and won for about 250. the Leds were also bought on ebay. I bought the leds that were already wired. after doing the whole baking process and taking apart the headlights, I evenly measured the spacing that I want to place the leds, used a drill bit and just drilled away, big enough to fit the leds in. Wire it all up, close the headlights, and tap the wires into the driving lights. There are a few others out there with similar style, check theirs too to get more ideas if you'd like.

How long did it take you to complete the headlights?

4-5 hours total that included 2-3 hours waiting for silicone to dry.
