G37 Sport 19's on my X....YAY!!!!

Many of you commented on this thread:

And a big THANK YOU for helping me to see tha light and stay away from those black Falken wheels. I purchased a used set of Sport 19's from tjskyline (awesome guy by the way), and just had em put on today. Couldn't be happier with the outcome...now time to pick some springs. Can't decide if I wanna go with Tein H-techs or Eibach prokits? I want a minimal drop while maintaining best possible ride quality. Anywho, here's some piccies:

Car is dirty, and pics taken with my cell phone. What do y'all think?

I can already tell they will look great once you drop the car about an inch. Should throw on some spacers too, like 10-15mm front/rear.

Thanks!

These wheels r dope...I love having a smaller sidewall vs what it was like with the OEM 17's. The car feels much more connected to the road, handles cornes better, and overall has less of a mushy feel. Of course having an extra 20mm of width gives a lil more traction.

I was traveling back home this morning up the interstate and when I passed the Asheville airport exit I noticed a FedEx truck gettin on I 26. Hmmm, wonder if my rims are on there??? (Tracking showed them in Charlotte the night before) So I stopped by McDonalds, to get my Monopoly game pieces, and got home 5 minutes before the same truck brought these beauties!

Any input on springs? H-techs vs prokit? From the specs I've read, the prokit offers an even drop, while the H-techs drop the front more giving nice forward rake...

WNClivin - Are you running staggered's on your X too?

Also, if you want to get an idea of what your car would look like on Eibachs take a look at my thread: https://g35driver.com/forums/picture...07g35x-ip.html

Personally, I like the look of the Eibachs. They clean up the gap b/w your tires and wheel well nicely especially in the back.

As far as I can tell they are 245/40/19's all around. Triple8Sol recommended spacers, but honestly I don't think it needs em.

Your car is beautiful! Really like the lowered stance with the Eibachs...I'll have to search for an X that's dropped on H-techs for a comparo.

Question

What I wanna know is what did you pay for the rims? I have no idea why these wheels are so hard to get and so expensive. So from where and what price?

Haha...brace yourself.......

$1000 shipped with insurance. From Southern FL to Western NC. These were the cheapest I found throughout all of my searching!

humm as far as spacers, they are 19x9 +45 r and 19x8.5 +43 f I believe. If you want the staggered look I say run a 10 in the rear and 5 up front, if you want to go really aggressive go like triple said but you will have to roll your fenders and maybe go with some 245/35. Unless you run more neg chamber.

Cool

you said from FL were they from ebay or a private owner? I've been trying to find away to buy them.
