everything
One point of advice.... pull that masking tape off the headlights and use blue painters tape. I had my headlights taped up while doing bodywork and getting normal masking tape adhesive off once peeled was nearly impossible, almost ruined the headlights.

Shaving the door handles? Cuz that would be hot.

It is fun, I worked as a solidworks designer manufacturing corp. It got old and all I did most days was sit at my desk dreaming up new parts for my car, building them in solidworks. Now that I work at a custom shop, I havent touched sw in about a year which makes me

I ended up scrapping the project since I lost interest... and was out a good chunk of change, parted out the entire car right down the the chassis.

Glad you found a new bodyshop!

I would love to get back into the showcar scene with my G. I was building my car for NCCA competition. Sh:t like this is right up my alley. Id love to work in a bodyshop that does extreme stuff, especially with my bodywork experience and prototyping/machining experience.
I was to that point.
I haven't gone to a car meet or show because of that.
I had so many bodyshops that said they would help if I pulled it out
and when I did they all closed their doors on me.

I was past the point of depression and was just going to let the car sit in my garage and possibly just find another shell(either a G35 or a 350z) later on down the road and move all the mechanical stuff.

Not shaving the door handles.
The car is being built for track purpose
hence why we went with sheet metal instead of doing a FG widebody.
Some little things the bodyshop decided to do on their own
like encapsulating the wheel well so there is not that much gap between
fender opening and wheel.
