Glex, the wide body work looks outstanding.

Do you intend on keeping the OEM 03-05 wing? If you did, I think that would be freakin sweet. I haven't seen a widebody yet that has kept the OEM wing on it.

I forgot. I say colormatched. Keep it clean. FGS flops the color so at night it'll look black/gunmetal. Day time, Platinum, silver, gunmetal. But you already knew that lol. COLORMATCH!

And someone else brought up the waves by the side marker.... Hopefully they address and fix all that little stuff before laying base.

Waiting for wheel pics....

Nothing wrong with laying down the primer before if your using a 2 part glazing putty to smooth out the waves . Some waves will always go unnoticed until they have a even coating to see it . They could have just did a guide coat but its fine either way . I do hope they used a epoxy primer though cuz it will prevent body work from coming back out after painting better and give you a harder base for basecoat/clearcoat . After all that work they should remove the windows before painting .

The waves are one thing... but look at that front wheel arch, not pretty.

Its a beautiful build but you gotta finish A before you move on to B. I despise sanding and finicky prep work. I personally would rather do it right instead of sanding/grinding that all down to make it flawless after the fact.

Everything will be fixed

Right now it's rough and all the minor details will be gone over

He keeps going from one side back to the other
if he likes the way it came out on the other side better

Have you thought about filling/shaving the side marker?

If you look at my history thread

https://g35driver.com/forums/picture...band-only.html

I have done clear corners
I have also shaved the side marker

Now that we are going with a darker color
I wanted to go back to Amber side markers
Every car I have seen that are a darker color
the amber side markers have looked good.
