You just need to control the heat, to not warp panels. If you try to do a cont. bead yes you will warp.

exactly what i was thinking thats why i asked . When i weld on body panels i do tack welds on alternating sides and quickly cool with a wet towel while tapping with a body hammer . Then i will go and do a few stitch welds if needed the same way . Even that way can cause minor warping but on his quarter panel it looks like they did tons of continuous beads with a mig so i think there would be a lot of warping which may be noticable after paint .
