for the look. imho, it looks dangerous. in particular that last set of pics. you're almost driving on the sidewall at that point, and it puts stress on places that aren't tested for that amount of stress. in particular when going around a corner at even a moderate amount of speed(body roll?)... granted, they do look good, i can't say they don't. but, so does a corvair.

Yuuup, you could do it, that's why sometimes people say it's more for the ballers, cause it looks good but if something happens then fvck it who cares they'll fix it, they know this before hand, tires probably wear out more, again you know this before hand and still are down to do it, it's the more "baller" thing to do and makes your rims look super nicer in my opinion. It's also very very famous to do it for VIP cars.

Yeah you could drift with it, just don't hit anything and/or cross your finger for something not to hit your rim.

i know drifters do it to have lets sidewall = less tire roll, and like the vip people say on vipstylecars "Dont stretch your tires if you dont have too". its useless to stretch if your not gonna have an aggressive set up.

+1 it looks sexy to an extent.

seen alot of post saying dont stretch if you dont have too its as simple as that dont stretch if you dont have to. why stretch a tire if your not gonna run something aggressive.

edit: vip people say dont stretch if your set up doesnt require it thats all i was saying and ive seen people say on VSC. im all for stretching tires eurodre

i know its because theres people out there that like the look of stretched tires but dont have the right wheel set up for it. you stretched tires to make wheels that wouldnt fit with the right tire set up.
