TO ALL THE STRETCH TIRE AGGRESSIVE FITMENT GUYS! Need Your Help

Hey, so here is my question:

I have:

245/35/19 on a 19x9 rim front
275/35/19 on a 19x10 rim rear

I want to keep the same sidewall thickness but stretched.

I was thinking:

245/40/19 or 255/35/19 on a 19x9.5 rim front
255/40/19 on a 19x10.5 rim rear

Will the sidewalls be very similar?

245/35/19 = 25.75" tall
275/35/19 = 26.58" tall

245/40/19 = 26.71" tall (sidewalls about .5" thicker)
255/35/19 = 26" tall (sidewalls about .3" thinner)
255/40/19 = 27" tall (sidewalls about .2" thicker)

How aggressive of a stretch do you want? I'm running 245/40 in the rear and 235/35 in the front and its a mild stretch but im gonna get 215/35 in the front and 235/35 in the rear for a more aggressive stretch.

im running 235/35 fronts and 265/30's rear and its a pretty aggressive stretch. ill post a front and rear shot. these pics arent that great but the tires do leave the rims exposed a bit.

sometimes it is not just the size of the tire, but the cut. some tires are cut more narrow than others. japanese and s. korea manufactured tires tend to run a bit more narrow in my experience.

That is true also. It really depends on how stretched you want to go. I would stay with a mild one, nothing that is borderline dangerous

this post makes no sense. Are you getting new wheels that are wider or are you trying to put narrower tires on your current rims?

225/40/19 and 245/40/19 on 9.5/10.5, that is a stretched setup

like I said before, it depends on the manufacturer cut of the tire. you better check the actual tire measurements from the manufacturer spec sheets before you buy or you may be disappointed with what you think you are getting.

I have 245-35-19 Falken Grb FK-451 on a 19x9.5 up front and it is stretched pretty much to the maximum. have seen 235-35-19's on 9.5's that are not as stretched as my setup.

my old 285-35-19 Falken rear tires mounted on a 19x10.5 were more stretched than the 275-35-19 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S I have mounted on a second set of 19x10.5's.

go to each website for the tires you are considering and check the spec sheet width of each tire size. that will give you a better idea of what to expect, but it is not exact. it all depends on how the tire is cut. japanese and s.korean tires tend to be cut more narrow than us and european tires.

Sorry to be of thread hijack here, I've searched on here as well as tried to Google some info here, I plan to get step lipped wheels once I purchase my G and am thinking to go with a stretched tire fitment like shown here.
is there any real dangers to doing this?
Thank you in advance!
