This would be a good project for me. My tan interior is getting dirty and The G sits about 90% of the time anyways. But that would mean more time and money into the G which is worth almost nothing in the near future lol..

Worth goes deeper than money.

I hope to get my girl to 200,000 miles and the blue book will be nada at that point, but she'll still be worth a lot to me.

ill be honest Ive done about 5 peoples cars. I like to think by now Ive got the right to say im pretty damn experienced. Well out of the 5 people 2 people have had problems with the stuff coming off (skinning) this stuff isn't a dye its a skin that acts like a layer on top of the existing leather. eventually you will get spots that want to lift or peel its just not going to hold up like we would like to think. Save you selfs the hassle and just get all new leather in the color of your choice, it will be better quality and make the car smell good. the stuff in our cars isn't great at all. I doubt its even a real leather because the backing is also smooth.

How long does it usually last? Do you have any more pics of your car or other peoples you've done? Pics of the "skinning"? Finally will you pm me or post the color orange you did as I was wanting to give it a try. Any tips?

Do you remove the seats? How do you remove the rear seats if so? I started to take the leather off of my front seat (passenger side first, I felt like it was a bad idea halfway so I just put it back). DIY is so necessary

Just did it to parts of my car, did the driver's side chair (just the sides, in red) and the headrests. I mean it's pretty much paint, so treat it as such? Looks nice though, although I'm pretty lousy at DIY paint things so it's a little rough around the edges. I'll post up pics when I'm done/when I get back to town, since I fly up to Norcal in a few hours
