Hey everyone im thinking of adding a wing to my G, im not talking about the oem spoiler, im talking about the ones that are aftermart, post your pix, i want to see how they look!

my only suggestion is, if you are not outfitted with a full body kit, some big deep wheels, you're not going to win any points...a wing on a stock car like the one in the pic just doesn't look good.

the only way you can justify it is with the description above or if you buy a good proven brand wing and actually race with it.

however, it'd be cool if this turned into a "G35 with wings thread" since there are so many others.

 

Most guys with wings either have stock or they have the m3 style small lip off the back. It looks good but Ill still with my OEM 04 spoiler. Looks alot better then 06+ IMO.

A wing like this should not be placed on a stock looking G. If this G had its full exterior done, with wheels, then it might look cool

 

Whoever's car that is needs to take that off....the wing.

 

wings belong on two things birds and planes.... not on a g

 

why does any street car need a wing? the wing only ruins the lines of the car IMO. wing-less FTW!

 

I'm not going to dog on you but, a wing is for down force and with your car being stock you don't need down force because your not doing any performance driving.

 

no. theres not a smidgen of "might" in there for any coolness to take effect. Paint, rims, bodykit, none of it would help except maybe fire. My only conclusion is that this is someone who meant to buy a Honda and got their branding mistaken.

 

remember the last generation Supra...who could forget. car has great lines...without the airplane wing. that airfoil was ridiculous looking. same thing with the G. the OEM snowboard ruins the sexy curves of the car IMO. if you are going to do anything at all, make it the small M3 style spoiler from Unlimited Tuning. it is only for looks anyway. don't see any other need for one. no one doing 150+ mph runs on the streets and if you are, you are an ***.
