Got bored and had a new addition to my ride (Illusion lip for the sport bumpers). It was clean today so I thought I would take 2 pics of it.

If I have time tomorrow (this will depend on when the damn paint shop gets done with it) I can post some pics of my Illusion lip as well! I was surprised at how dirt cheap these things are on eBay! Albeit mine was quite distorted when it arrived.... no matter, installed it on the car for a week (while I was figuring out where to get it painted) and when I pulled it off it was shaped perfectly. Fitment wasn't amazing but, it was cheap! I'm sure it will work just fine and offer me loads of visual satisfaction!

 

I slapped mines on my LR also! Makes the car look sleek. I still need the paint job but I like how it looks on it right now. Looks good man!

 

post that **** up my fellow LR peeps! Ive been holding out on a poly inven bumper, but i doubt klumzyee is going to make it. so i'll have to scrap that idea... looks like this is my only remaining option!

 

You mean LR with the front lip in black? Yeah I kinda liked it too! But I figured it would look better painted.... dropped it off this morning, should be done tomorrow. I'm excited! I also have a JL 10w6 coming via UPS! Yesterday I painted my headlights black and modded the turn signal lens... Perhaps I'll rub her down and take some pictures

 

I will try to post up tomorrow (I'll make my own thread though and we can stop highjacking this one haha). Seriously though that lip is way cheap ($115 shipped). Mine's being painted for $125 so, I have a shipped + painted lip for $240! I say that's way better than a whole front bumper shipped and painted! Is it quite as extreme? Nah, but for the money I think it's an amazing addition to my G!

Yes its for the 06 sport bumper. Well you can buy it from klumzee.. I think thats how you spell it. Its sold in the market section. I believe the newer ones you buy will have fitment issues according to what klumzee told me. Its about 1/4 off on each side now for the newer ones.

I got mine used from a member on this board. He had one that was from a batch that was made during the time the lip made its appearance.
