Taillight dual ring LED mod prelim work

I know everyone loves teaser pics. But it's all I got at this point. I need to do some final soldering of the wires and then seal everything up. Then I just have to do the other side. Hopefully that side will go more smoothly. It was NOT easy to open the 06-07 lights, since the trunk release button area was cemented together.

The LEDs will also light up even brighter when the brakes are applied to match the original LEDs.

Yeah, the LED ring would match the 03-05 light better. But I want to keep the 06-07 lights to keep the car newer looking. I'll experiment with different reflectors.

I've put in about a week's work, working about 1-2 hours a day. But I tend to be slow with these projects. Money wasn't much. The materials are pretty cheap, well compared to HID projectors.
