Blue on Blue?

Wanted to know if anyone was bold enough to throw Magnesium Blue rims on a TB? I wanted to see pics.. Too much blue? Clashing colors?

Or if not Magnesium Blue, does anyone have blue rims (color matched) on a TB at all?

Just wondering what it'd look like w/out photoshop

I was looking at the GT30 Volks..

I do too.. but I guess not enough people have that color for folks to experiment w/ it.. I know most people get the magnesium blue for contrast, but I was just wondering if anyone's gotten it.. Maybe even black w/ a color matched lip.. I understand that'd be more "showish" but still..

Hey Twalls, I've seen the mag blue wheels but like you I'm not sure how they'd look with TB. (wish I had photo shop) Our cars need bling to show off our blue, powder coating the centers or lip in TB would look great. Unlike paint P/C would still show the polished reflection thru the color which makes it POP!

Blue on Blue...

I didn't chop in the Volks, but this may give you an idea of what you're looking for. I had to enhance the color of the original photo to get the twilight blue to really show up, and I color matched it the best I could. Not 100% about the magnesium blue hue, so I made it more similar to the car color. Hope this helps...

Before...

After...

Your rims look good as is.
Blue, it gives the car a more menacing look imho - not bad, just a difference stance. Depends on what you are going for.

btw, is that a Furd running pony on the rear??? Or, is it just a Texas thing...

I recently bought some 17 inch OEM rims (same as what I have but in great condition).
Was wonding about painting the 17 inch OEM's that I'm going to take off....was thinking silver/grey/black, but now wondering how that blue would look! Need a PS pic

Wheels should be silver, gunmetal, black, or chrome.

Go put on your best navy blue pin-striped Armani suit, then slap these on your feet and try not to look like a twit, and you have the same concept...

^^^ Don't hold back!!! Tell us what you really think!!

What if only the spokes were blue and the rims still chromed???

As for black, I think I like the blue better. Not a big fan of dark rims to begin with.
