If you want to buy expensive wheels have a great time and enjoy them to the fullest!

However, from a technical point of view, it is not necessary to purchase super high quality forged wheels. You can drive daily just fine on cast wheels. In that case people should not be discouraged to purchase less expensive wheels unless they are going to be using them in high-performance situations. Would you disagree with that?

I have made no comment saying that people shouldn't buy expensive wheels. I just think that it's also OK to buy less expensive one's too.

I am FI, but I do not throw negative comments to people who install a CAI. It's all about what your goals are. It just seems that on this forum many people get negativity when asking about wheels like the Enkei's or Konigs.
what you have to understand is that people don't like wheels like the one posted above soley based on looks. The negativity is geared most of the time toward the actual look of the wheel and not the performance factor. If you can find a wheel that looks decent and is not expensive then yah sure by all means go for it. The point is that a lot of times wheels that are relatively cheap don't look as good. Of course there any exceptions to this, but based on a general sense it is true. You have to also understand that the humor in your joke was not really obvious. So most people who call others snobs for having wheels such as volks/works is most of the time a reflection on their incapability (will or economic) to buy the wheels themselves. But not to stretch this any further you have my opinion and you have ours and I wanted to know what you mean by that statement

Reezlah, I'm with you, I think they look damn good on a G. In the very least, you will have unique wheels. But IMO they look really badass.

And sorry to anyone who took my wheel snob comment too seriously, I figured the term "wheel snob" was fairly light hearted. Maybe I should have used the term "wheel *****" instead?

Ain't nothing wrong with ballin on a budget. Post up pics when u get them on. I had Konigs on my last car and never ran into any problems and got several compliments. Moral of story, ur car, do what looks good to u.
