Ya most people that have seen the color say oh cool its "chameleon" but its really not. There are a couple different kinds of color changing paints. They are all color changing but they will start with one color and flop to another color, but when there side by side you can tell theres a big defernce

Green to Purple
Cyan to Purple
Silver to Green
Blue to Red -
Magenta to Gold
Gold to Silver

I know theres more out there as well, but these are the ones I use.

I should really learn to read the entire post, but pictures are so much easier (usually). I spent 3 minutes looking at the front bumper trying to figure which one it is. I scrolled down finally and got my answer. Doh! Needs a lip, though. JMO.

Good choice on paint.

You have to start some were my G friend, do you think I started painting these kinds of jobs? lol nope! I dont get to just paint these colors, I work at the dealership so im mostly painting new cars. I have spent a lot of my own money and time getting good at this stuff. Every year I take my vacation time to go to a custom paint school because my work does not pay for custom training Three years ago I went to a custom color school $250 per day for a week, last year three days at a custom airbrushing school $250 per day for three days, this year custom graphics $250 per day for three days. Plus food, gas, hotel, ect for each school. This month I have a custom airbrushing class im going to in CT $250 for one day, hotel the night befor, food, gas, day off from work. But you have to learn some how

If you want to be the best at somthing you cant hang out on the couch watching tv talking about it.

Wow! everything looks amazing. when you cut the bumper and added to it it was under the vents correct? Only thing i would have done different is cut above the vents and bring the rest down. Not sure if thats possible cause of the slant on the bumper. Either way it looks great can't wait to see the finished product.

I will be at occ my friend, I will be there for fun and to meet other Nissan/Infiniti people. Dont know if I will enter the car in the show, I dont think it show ready just because it has paint.

Its not that bad for me because im doing it my self. But if some one walked in and asked for that.......... 6-9k. I could do it less for a friend but if a good paint job would be from $3,500-$5,500 then you have to add in how much this paint cost and that it will take a lot longer to do. Most shops could not even do it any ways, so your going to have to find a good shop first.

I thought about that, but after the lip is on I think it will look good ot possible? Any thing is possible! A car is made out of metal and plastic, both can be cut, melted, welded or glued. You can do any thing if you really want to
