Im doing it because I have never seen any driving around with it, and I think it would look good. I dont think I can keep up with SinCity, but what did they charge for that $1,000+ ya no thanks! I can do it my self and put the money some were else

Was just showing everyone what they would look like cuz they kept asking, didn't wana leave them in suspense mode .

 

I think cincity painted the lenses too.. they won't look that black with the red lenses I don't believe

 

I think Cincity is a joke. I used to be on their site, but did a lot of research in their work. Its good but personally they overcharge and will even ask you to pay with "rims, cf" etc..

and i've heard some horror stories of their customer service as well.

not bashing since I have nothing against them really but their business ethics is screwed up. (ive also heard good stories though).

Seems his pictures are gone. Maybe he can chime in and post some up. I know he painted his matte black inside. Looked great.. Awesome job so far PPG, I hope to do this sometime soon as well, along with dual led ring! We tried to have a company custom make a clearlense for us a couple years ago but there was not enough interest in the groupbuy as they were $500 a set to have made.

 

from experience..its much easier to take them apart then sealing them..gl with your project

very nice PGG!! Subscribed!!! just f.y.i I would love to put up my teaser shot of my new headlights from Mike at Clearcorners but he wont allow me.....they are fully custom 06 tailights.

 

i really like the ones with the halo rings only. the versions that have multiple rings of LEDs are too busy for my taste.

IMO, a halo ring with a single ring of slightly duller LEDs inside looks best (see the larger ring on the left in the attached pic). i'd want both lights - the larger ring and the smaller ring - to look like that.

Ya me to! lol. After seeing the pictures from sincity im going to put some halos in them while there open. I was selling a set......... not any more

 

Im finishing the halos right now, then monday or tusday when the glue is dry I will start to put them back together



Yes the tape will come off when the glue is dry.
