Thanks for all the props guys. As for the tires, I've seen that special on 20/20... that was quite a scare back in the day. But I've checked my tires, and there are no cracks, dryness, etc. So I will be fine for now. Maybe next year. I only put about 1k - 2k per year. Besides, if I bought a new set of tires at tirerack, how do I know they won't send me tires that have been sitting on their shelves for 7 years?

You check the date code. But I think they are pretty good in that respect.

I know to check it once I physically have the tire... but what I'm saying is, I would have to trust them to send me NEW or NEWER tires... with my luck, I'd have bought a "new" set of 4 tires, only to find that they are actually physically older than my current ones... lol... But eh, maybe next year. I want those new Potenza's anyways... or the Dunlop's.
