I certainly hope not Jeremy - it's a long way to ride my mountain bike to work! And i still claim i wouldn't have done half this stuff to my ride if i was still in Ohio...

I didn't move that fast.... well okay I may have moved pretty quick. But the wheels need to get here! I got bit by the mod bug pretty bad too.

If you're headed back down to Sal's or JTran anytime, give me a call and I'll roll with you again. I wouldn't mind being there for moral support. And when I say moral support, I basically just mean trying to convince you to spend some cash!

Question for you. I've got the Akebono BBk kit and same rotors as well. The brake pads on both the front and rear rotors do not cover the entire surface and are leaving a ring of rust on the rotor surface near the hub. Do you have the same problem? Take a look at the attached pic.

 

yes sir - that is normal from my understanding - wish that wan't the case and if someone knows how to fix it - i'd love to hear it!

Looks great! I may swap out my K2 for the remix as well..Time will tell
