all stripped down and ready for paint ;)

car is about to get repainted, just figured i would send a pic so you all can see what she looks like all stripped down to her naked self!!

p.s. i dunno how to resize sorry

its that new base coat that infiniti uses now.. its called I Can't See Anything Clear

fixed, images resized.


i'm painting it a darker variance of DG

i am also using a course paint to give it a 3D look to the paint

which glass are you referring to?

because some of it has to be cut out.......

there really is no benefit to pulling/cutting the glass because the way the body panels are no bridging will occur, only the moldings have to be removed

Id pull the 1/4 glass... you can always see the cut line for clear there when people respray cars. But ya if moldings are removed it shouldnt be an issue. Most people dont though.

In for after pics I never really understand why people like to repaint their cars close to oem colors if you're gonna do that why not just leave it the way it is and spend the 3-5k on mods iunno. Im sure it will look nice tho nonetheless.

well the color i am using is an OEM color, it is just a darkened up DG by adding some custom mix to the paint, and i am using a courser variance of DG to give it a 3d look.

also my insurance company is paying for the repaint with little cost out of my pocket because someone keyed my whole car up so that is why i am doing this
