Those look nice already man but having cut outs would definitely set it off! IMO, cut out the 2 holes along with the reverse lights! The leds uncut should be fine! I actually wanted mine as dark as possible without distording the look of the small leds because they come off hazy if they are too dark!
These are painted though but from the pics I think that is already fine! Just need cut outs! Not sure about the middle insert though! Some have pulled that off nicely but its a definite no no for 03-05 Tails! A hard lesson learned for me!

I could try it with the center inserts and see how it looks. I'll post pics up to get some comments from you guys. If I end up changing my mind, it shouldn't be too hard to just take them out.

^That's cause you didn't put none as an option, if you did you would see a very overwhelming voting trend. But if you wanted a choice between the ones you offered, then you are right.
i need to install mine but i cant find anyone to do it in my area!! im horrible handleing these kind of things...i have the roof overlay, gtr headlights and tails all sitting in my trunk...

Went with the 6/10 GTRs
Don't have any center surrounds, but this is what it looks so far. They came out muuuuch better than the first time lol.

I had very light GTR style overlays on mine. Light enough that it wasn't noticable. I liked them at first, but when I sold my car and took them off, they looked a lot better.
So I would go without overlays. I will say however that certain cars do pull them off.
