New Camera + Parking Garage = My First Photos

So yea another boring parking garage but I really am not experienced with photography and nor do I think I am good! lol

I haven't really had time to snap any shots so I've never posted pics, but I happened to have a camera in the car go I grabbed a few leaving school...

ANY HELPFUL HINTS please lend away I am very curious about different settings and possibilities! My first question is what can I change to make them less grainy? My cousin set it to RAW... not sure if thats what it should stay on.

Here is the album:

hey man those are some pretty cool pictures, not a bad way to start. if you are going to bother to take a picture, it better be in RAW. RAW is a completely uncompressed format and when used with a program like Adobe Camera RAW, you have nearly limitless flexibility on what you want to do with the pictures. what program did you use to convert these?

check out some of the pictures i posted in "gainesville raceway" a few threads down. all of them were taken in RAW with my Canon T2I.

Keep it RAW.

And assuming you shot these with a tripod, no need to shoot @ ISO 400 (the cause of your graininess, which isn't that bad, especially at these viewing resolutions).

Definitely use a tripod for pictures like those, but i know that on my camera iso 1600 is still perfectly acceptable especially with how good the noise reduction in Adobe camera RAW is.

Heck, I have no hesitation to shoot ISO 3200 on my 5D2 w/out any noise reduction software.

Awesome thanks for the advice guys. I didn't use a tripod this time but I want to next time and do some in the day time to get more light. I'm using a Sony DSLR-A100 I like it so far!

The wheels are 19x9.5 rear and 19x8.5 front with 25mm spacers all around, also the 40 sidewall also helps

I want to start a suspension set up but drive about 150 miles just for work a week so the slammed set up doesn't work for me...
