I did nothing to the wheels except clean them, they had pretty bad curb rash from previous owner. You can barely see it anymore unless you go right up to the wheel and inspect. Before you could see the rash from pretty far away. The plasti-dip and black help with masking it pretty well.

Yup, I haven't tried yet but you can youtube videos of people peeling it off to get a good look at the process. I'm sure its not easy but it will come off, especially after 3 base coats of Plasti-Dip.

Going to try and clean the car up after work today and get some better pics. The weather and work has been permitting me to take a good pic but if its still light enough tonight after I wash her up I'll try and snap some pics.

Dirty car and fingers blocking but the lighting wasn't too crappy.

That looks real clean Gdriver90.. Seems pretty easy to do too. I might have to do this when I paint my grille this weekend.

wanted to update this thread :

After over a month of having it on the paint/plasti-dip is still holding up flawlessly. I've driven in cinders and power washed the wheels once a week, no wear at all yet.

If I start to see degrading of the paint I will update this post. Most of the questions people ask me about it is how it holds up so I just wanted to give an idea to people interested.
