ha thanks man, it feels good to be back in an infiniti.. i miss the old g35 but cant wait to get started on building the g37. trying to think of colors to do the akebonos in right now
wow that's cool that you've now had all of the most recent gs zs! I think few have spent such as extensive period of time with each.
Can you share your experience with us?
How would you compare the 350z, 350z hr, 370z, g35 and g37?? Handling, power, interior, overall driving fun, comfort, attention getting lol ?
Nice to see you back in a G!
I'm currently in Brazil for a 2 year work project, and couldn't let go of my G yet. I put in on autotrader and I won't answer the interested ppl lol. I almost convinced myself to do it, but at the end of the day, I can't let go of my baby. I also love the no car payments, and for the 12 that I can sell it for, and the 10 that I would spend on top to jump to a Z or a 37, I think I would be happier to finally drop an LS in it when I get back! I almost did it when I did the vortech, and I'm actively looking into taking advantage of the down time to do it!
Looking forward to the progess of the G37 !!!

ive been thinking about doing the akebonos in yellow again.. probably wont be changing the color of this one. starting off under the hood this time, already got my intakes ordered, next up is a polished cusco strut bar and doing some other polished things under there, and a wire tuck for the harnesses on the side of the engine bay, did new cross drilled/slotted rotors yesterday. Suspension and probably some 15/20mm spacers for the oem wheels will be next until i save up enough $$ to order some nice wheels

I didnt have the HR for too long before finding an amazing deal on the 370z so i of course upgraded without hesitation. The power band on the 370z was just awesome, especially on the top end with the intakes/exhaust on it. Interior was nice, probably the only car that i had the most head room in and the seats just hugged you thru the corners. It was by far one of my favorite interiors as well, with the gtr start button and the sweeping gauges every time that you started the car. I never got around to do sways or anything like that on the 370, but did do the swift/koni yellow combo and that car handled awesomely with that combo. But in the end, I always missed my g35 the most. I would still have that car had i never got hit by a truck one day downtown but it just never felt/drove the same after getting it back so i moved on and finally got back into another G. So far with the G37, im definitely enjoying the car and having all of the luxury options back and the extra power is nice as well. Its like having the best of both worlds to me, granted i do have my seat set to the lowest setting and i barely have enough head room but its totally worth it to be back in a G. Working on this car so far has been pretty easy, everything is straight forward and im pretty happy to have my akebonos back after not having them on any of the Z's. so needless to say, this one will be staying around for quite a while and will get built up slowly but im hoping to do it right and exactly how i want it the first time so i dont have to constantly be changing out parts until im happy

Cool, Darkside, thanks for the detailed review, nice info!
I see that the new G is heading to a great path, and based on what your G35's looked like, we have similar tastes so Im looking forward to the progress pics!
